General terms and conditions
Order placement
The translation order is considered placed, and WWT - Worldwide Translation Services' general terms and conditions accepted, as soon as the text to be translated has been transferred. For quotations, the prices are to be understood as price indications. The definitive invoice can deviate from the offered price indication by no more than 10%. Additional expenditures that were unforeseeable are reported and invoiced separately.
Price calculation
The translated characters including spaces count, with 55 strokes to a standard line. Partial lines are invoiced as whole lines. This price per line includes both the translation as well as the proofreading by a second person. Additional expenses are invoiced at cost. All prices are exclusive VAT.
An express surcharge may apply if the order contains more than 5 standard pages (standard page: 30 lines with 55 strokes) and if delivery should occur on the same day (25 - 50% surcharge). For translations that have to be completed over the weekend or the holidays: 50 - 100% surcharge.
Editing and copyediting, however, are invoiced by the hour.
Payment terms
Invoices are due within 20 days net after receiving the completed work, otherwise default charges may be imposed.

In justified cases, WWT - Worldwide Translation Services will revise the translation free of charge or, if necessary, have it retranslated.
